John has got to hope Canelo has shot it overnight, his normal aggressive style will be just what Canelo is looking for to impress his Mexican fans , many who aren't bothered who he beats as long as he wins.

Keep hearing that Ryder has earned his shot? B.S. How? more like there is a dearth of decent competition at 168 - I only give credit to Canelo for beating Plant. BJS was a blown up mw who did nothing at 168 and Smith is just a solid pro, nothing more, nothing less.
        PanchoGomez Rayzah likes this.

Referee named. Who cares. Let me know when Canelo picks a real opponent. Thanks.

Ryder fought and beat Zach Parker for the interim WBO belt.

Parker was someone who Demetrius Andrade could have fought on two separate occasions but never did, for various reasons.

He beat Callum Smith. The best 168lber at the time. Unless you somehow think Smith won that fight. Been in with many more better fighters than Plant and Benavidez, ontop of having beaten just as many bums.

Oh, but you don’t like his style. It doesn’t match up well with Canelo right? So he doesn’t deserve his shot. Somehow.
