Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson: Tank is Very Comfortable Fighting Taller People, He's a Great Boxer

Former undisputed heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson says he now understands why some observers have compared Gervonta 'Tank' Davis' fighting style to his own, saying their "stoutness to the ground" and the way they throw power punches are very similar.

I am for Tank to win but for some reason I just think it is Evander Hollyfield across the ring against the Mike Tyson of Tank!

Garcia looks drained which is normal at the weigh in but the problem is the rehydration weight limit. Probably Tank will be pretty comfortable at 146 lbs but for a tall guy like Ryan it will be a problem after a few rounds.

I think Tank stops Garcia with a big counter which is very predictable since Ryan fights tall, stiff and he leaves his head unguarded when he is throwing punches.

Anyway, this is more likely a big cash in for Ry, which is fine. At least he'll get paid very well. But if Garcia somehow pulls the trigger and beats Tank, then it will be a very good win.

In a more relistic manner I think this is a very big money cherrypick for Tank and his handlers. Garcia has a very good hype but he lacks of boxing fundamentals and skills. Of course if Tank will ktfo Garcia then Tank's profile will be huge in terms of marketing and hype. Very clever way of doing business and money.. Smoke and mirrors.

"a very big money cherrypick for Tank and his handlers"? He didn't pick RG, it's the other way round. This is probably RG's cash out bout.

            He has a rehydration clause.

you’re clearly missing his point. The rehydration clause IS the 10am weigh in. After that is over, he can gain weight again and he won’t be weighed after that point.

Its been debated for days he weighed in looking great and they still don't get it, never ceases to amaze me, this is exactly how total bs rumors start from people that don't know what the hell they on about.

It's not that they don't get it, they deliberately act that way just to bash Tank and or build an excuse in the event Tank destroys RG.
