Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia: Gervonta Says He's Going To Take Me Into Deep Waters; Guess What, I Know How To Swim

Ryan Garcia has been amused--and at times bored--by the promises and threats made by Gervonta Davis ahead of their blockbuster fight. Both sides have vowed a knockout ending for their April 22 clash, which headlines a Showtime Pay-Per-View event from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. There has been plenty of clapback between the two whenever the other speaks on how they plan to finish their fight, which takes place at a contracted maximum limit of 136 pounds.

It will be a shocker if Ryan catches Tank with a KO punch. Not easy to do against the Tasmanian Devil.

Who here believes Tank can take Ryans left hook to the temple, chin, or the body?If he lands Davis will be hurt. He does get hit, he is no Mayweather or Shakur.

Gervonta is more skillsfull than Ryan, but Skills don't always pay the bills. One heavy punch that lands can change the fight.

Most people believe Gervonta will win, even without rehydration clause. That's why I don't see the point of having it other than TANK having more advantage, even though he is the favorite. Pu**y move.

Whoever lands the big punch wins. Don't believe it goes to decision.

The general consensus is that 'Tank' has that extra experience to help him win.

But Ryan has a chance, but he's going to have obviously fight the best he's ever fought. Joe Goosen is a fine trainer, and I'm sure he's prepared Garcia on exactly what he has to do.

The difficulty is doing it for twelve rounds, as I don't think he'll stop Gervonta.

Garcia could stick and move all night with his reach advantage. I just don't think he'd disciplined enough to do it.
