Shuichiro Yoshino's smile could be seen a mile away. Of course, the 31-year-old Japanese native knew good and well that Shakur Stevenson would be a handful to deal with but was still confident in his ability to take care of business. Fast forward approximately 15 minutes later and there was nothing to smile about.

No power means you are far from perfect. Even Floyd had power early on and had pop and sting on his shots at welter

        A. There’s no such thing as a perfect fighter B. If there is a perfect fighter, it damn sure isn’t someone who’s a prospect. I get it, the kid has the most talent/potential of anyone in the sport. But he still extremely untested, could have a Khan chin for all we know. Need to see him in with elite fighters who are his own size before crowning him.

You’re just regurgitating what other brain-dead casuals are saying. If you don’t believe he has “sting” on his shots why has he dropped or stopped all 4 of his last opponents at world level?
Floyd also got booed multiple fights at 140 and below..

If Claressa thinks he’s Shakur is a perfect fighter that is her opinion and she’s entitled to it. She simply means in her view he does everything incredibly well. It’s clear to see that Shakur is a highly intelligent fighter and has sparred with both Devin and Gervonta so yes he’s got yo beat guys but he can still be classed as a perfect fighter. It’s just a reference after all.

Well, not perfect for sure, not the biggest puncher, but very difficult to beat.

Perhaps the biggest puzzle to figure out in boxing. He could ramp up the excitement level though, like a younger Mayweather, or the great Ray Leonard..

Shakur vs Tank and Ryan, that would be fun. He probably beats Haney, and this version of Lomachenko.

Loma from five years ago would've presented a tough challenge for Shakur.

No such thing as a perfect fighter but he's damn good. I want to see if he becomes comfortable slipping punches. He pulls from everything but never slips.
