SAN ANTONIO - Eddie Hearn still gets a chuckle out of the unexpected--but largely necessary--union with Sunny Edwards. The move came after nearly two years of the supremely gifted British boxer shouting for a unification bout with WBC titlist Julio Cesar Martinez and now with Jesse Rodriguez (18-0, 11KOs) who recently won the WBO title to become the sport's youngest division titlist.

“He’s ready to clean out the division. We’re excited to see which flyweight can accomplish that goal.”

Didn't see anything in there in his fight against Alvarado to suggest he beats Jesse or even makes it competitive for that matter. Sunny vs JCM however is an interesting fight, hopefully Hearn can get it done.

I don't see Sunny beating any of the other champions, especially not Martinez or Bam Rodriguez. He just doesn't have the power and skillset of the others. Even Dalakian, will probably put him to sleep over 12 rounds. Nothing special there, just another Euro-boxer that Hearn is going to feed to the real lions as a delicacy.
