Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Joe Joyce Would Knock Anthony Joshua Out; He Would Walk Through Him

Tyson Fury isn't the only heavyweight he promotes that Frank Warren would happily match against Anthony Joshua. Warren acknowledged Joyce will encounter a dangerous opponent Saturday night at Copper Box Arena in London. Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) is scheduled to square off against huge Chinese contender Zhang Zhilei (24-1-1, 19 KOs) in the main event of a card BT Sport 1 will air in the United Kingdom and Ireland and ESPN+ will stream in the United States.

Joyce would be a nightmare for Joshua IMO. AJ’s biggest weaknesses are his stamina and punch resistance. Joyce would definitely test those two attributes.

I hope we get to see them fight so we know for sure. Hopefully AJ can find his mojo if they do!

Warren should do to Aj what Hearn did to Wilder. Hearn kept saying fight Whyte to then fight Aj, Aj should have to fight Joyce to then fight Fury.

Zhang first though, let's hope it's a ****er.

I don’t think Joshua will go anywhere near Joyce tbh.

Whyte rematch then the Fury cashout I think.

So because JJ beat a none puncher and washed up Parker he suddenly become a bogeyman? Soon he will get a reality check.

It's only my opinion but I think Joe Joyce beats anyone in the division. I know Usyk beat him in the WSB but I don't think he would keep him off for 12 rounds. I think his persistent style is under-rated and his punch resistance is borderline just plain gross. Dubois isn't exactly a powder-puff puncher and he ate those bombs like muffins.

At this point? With Anthony Joshua’s fragile mental state?

Yeah, I think Joe Joyce would walk through him.

                  I'd pick Joyce

AJ is (was?) way above anyone he's fought yet. His best wins are Parker who in reality recently went 1-1 with Chisora with fair judging and struggled with Junior Fa. And his other best win is Dubois who just got knocked down 3 times by a cruiserweight.

I rate Joyce and he will be a very tough fight for anyone but he's not really fought any true top fighters yet, not his fault.

But AJ doesn't look like the man he used to be, so I think Joyce would be too tough for him.
