Beterbiev will be 48 by the time that fight made. The promoters continue to do this **** because no matter what they're served, the loyal fans will always come back for more. There are no financial repercussions for the promoters when they disobey the fans.

just fight eifert and free beterbiev of his ibf mandatory since wba's and wbo's are fulfilled and promoters are pushing for wbc's (smith). that way both bivol and beterbiev would be free for the fall/winter. beterbiev's 3 belts basically mean that he would always have some mandatory looming if bivol doesn't "help" him. if big names aren't available just fight some mandatory.
