It wouldn't be much of a fight if Fury was the only one in the ring.

The opponent always matters. In this case the opponent has great credibility, is well liked in the UK and globally, and brings three quarters of the heavyweight belts. And was taking only 30%!!!

In the event of a rematch he would be giving a voluntary defence of his Undisputed Heavyweight Championship of the World to a man he just beat. At that point I don't care who the home fighter is.

    It's a dead argument.

These guys around him have programmed him into thinking he’s a mythical legend and Fury like a kid actually believes whatever they tell him . Take a real close look at that quote from John that will tell everyone this fight was never going to try and get done on their part .
      J. Fury is a loser.

You have a point there but what if it was Usyk who lost? He would still get 50/50 would he not? Both guys have the option of a rematch if they lose. Maybe i got this rematch clause thing wrong but if Fury beat Usyk & took home 70% & they only take 50% in the rematch isn’t that a good deal for Usyk? From my understanding they offered Usyk 50% for rematch regardless of who won the fight. Did I misinterpret the Fury offer? If that was the offer then Usyk could lose 2 fights & still take home 40%. I think it was Usyk who asked for the rematch clause. I wasn’t at the negotiations so I really don’t know but sounds like Fury was cool with a one & done. Was Usyk?

How many people in the UK would be there to see Usyk? I’m sure there would be some but Usyk has spent his entire career on the road. He is not some massive draw. Tony Yoka can draw more fans in Paris than Usyk can. If the rematch were to take place outside the UK then 50/50 but as long as it’s in the UK 70/30 Fury is fair. Regardless if Usyk wins or loses he should not be entitled to more than 50% in the rematch if the fight is in the UK. How many people would attend Usyk/Hrgovic anywhere? What would their purses be? Usyk has Fury, Dubois & Joyce to fight in UK. He may be the 3 belt champion but he simply does not have some big fan base following him around the globe. Has Usyk ever fought in the US? Vegas? MSG? Wladimir Klitschko & Lomachenko have & they could draw large crowds.
Usyk vs Chisora sold more UK PPVs than Fury vs Chisora 3.

AJ sold 600k PPVs against Pulev. His next 2 fights, vs Usyk, sold over 1.2 million each. Numbers don't lie. Usyk is clearly a big draw in the UK.

No. Usyk would have gotten 30/70 if he lost, 50/50 if he won.

I thought usyk agreed to furys 70-30 split offer, What happened?Gypsy bluff backfired? Lol Furys rant sounds bit like he got exposed tbh but him calling usyk a bug eyed buck tooth ugly rat kinda hilarious.

It was out yesterday (Wasn’t at the table don’t truly know) that Team Fury offered a 50/50 split for the rematch & Team Usyk wanted the lions share if he won. Apparently that was the road block. As I said earlier what if Fury won? He would still get 50%. He could lose 2 fights & take home 40%. Did Usyk actually demand a rematch clause? According to Fury (I take what he says with a grain of salt) he did which tells me Fury offered 70/30 & was cool with one & done. On to bigger & better things like Joshua & Joyce in all Britain matchups. He seems pretty upset that he had to give him a rematch clause. If this is the case I don’t think he was ever concerned with Usyk whatsoever. Maybe he wants this more than people think. He wins this fight he is the man. He can vacate & then fight Joshua. Followed by maybe Joyce before retiring for good. I think he really only cares about money. A couple all British matchups for the real undisputed crown to end his career would net him a couple nice retirement checks.

I love Fury. He reinforces that I'm not the only man in this world in his 30s with a 13 year old mind.
