Benavidez with a 6 pack, looking fast and sharp. Damn, Caleb is a dead man.

Benavidez looks really dry. Look at those weight drained eyes. I hope he makes weight

What these boxers go through to make weight and the efforts to maximize the result is really a big effort on the part of the team. Benavidez, with his large frame, probably should be in a higher division. But come time to box, he may find he's reached the end of 68. It could happen. If Plant takes him 12 rounds, ya never know.

In order for Plant to win, the stars really need to be aligned. Benevidez needs to be weight drained, frustrated, sluggish and start to gas out from the 6 th round till the end. Plant needs to be on his A game, show resolve, go to the body, hit and move and/or hit and hold, show some pop early to deter the Mexican agression. So yeah, not impossible but...highly improbable.

Already thought that Plant would have hefty task against Benavidez considering that David had improved compared to when he battered a prime version of Dirrell, plus the fact that David comfortably disposed of Kyrone Davis kinda reaffirmed it for me since he had a draw with the same version of Dirrell that Plant fought with.

To make things worse for Caleb, he is also fighting a 100% disciplined version of David Benavidez.
