    Why? He's not wrong.

I mean, never forget what this same man said about Kell Brook - BEFORE that fight was signed - he called him a "wounded duck" that wasn't worth fighting.

His career is truly subpar and dude is already going on 36. You 've had a chance at Pacquaio and Spence for a marquee fight and neither came off. Something tells me the problem of not landing big fights rests at his feet. Perhaps overinflated self worth or lack of self awareness but I guess he will be HOF.
Everything you pointed at was in the province of 147lbs. Crawford has waxed three other divisions with some terrific names along the way. I tend to measure on balance. Credit to Spence though. He's done great work in his one division, over years, even if now the talk is he's a cruiser looking to do welterweight work at 154lbs, or something.

A smart response would've been, "I thought Rocha beat Ellis, therefore Rochas an undefeated fighter in my book."

If Team Crawford really wants to stick it to Team Spence, they should take the Rocha fight just to get the Ortiz unification if he beats Stanoisis.

And what exactly was Avanesyen???
In this case, this is not Crawford's fault. I blame the WBO! I don't think Oscar wanted Crawford vs. Ortiz Jr., so he had them hold off. However, as soon as Crawford leaves Top Rank, and he has the opportunity to promote the fight, he makes some calls, and here we go!

Too bad we can't see Spence vs Crawford. Boxing politics is as bad as national politics--haphazard & inefficient. Pacquiao fought Marquez 4x, Barrera 2x, Morales 3x. Sad state of affairs.

No it is more than that.
It is a way for Bud to stay busy and pad his bank account while Errol 'the tooth' Spence continues to hold the welter weight division hostage with the belts that he holds for no good reason.
                It’s reparations

He may as well be inactive, facing the bums he faces - with the exception of Shawn Porter.

If he keeps taking fights (against bums) instead of waiting for Spence, their fight will never happen.....and critics will continue to criticize Bud.

I will honestly be surprised if Spence ever fights at 147 again.

I mean Boots been calling and no answer... If its like you say and Spence doesn't want to fight then go and wipe out the rest of the division.... do you, hell move up and go beat Charlo but don't sit there and expect people to buy this sparing partner crap fights that no one cares about.

heck man take a page out of Ryan's playbook and give Spence the lions share, if he's so sure he would beat him. I'm sure Spence would want to run it back and then you can Gouge him on the other side and beat him again.

at least do something that doesn't involve fighting these random bums for the rest of your prime.
