Comments Thread For: Tony Harrison: What Did Tim Tszyu Accomplish To Fight For Every Single One Of The Belts?

By Keith Idec - Tony Harrison doesn't understand why Tim Tszyu agreed to fight him. If Harrison were in Tszyu's position - guaranteed a shot at fully unified 154-pound champ Jermell Charlo next - the former WBC super welterweight champion admits he would not have taken this type of risk. In fact, Harrison says he would've waited for Charlo's hand injury to heal and simply rescheduled their bout without boxing another opponent.

I'm fine with any outcome. Harrison VS Charlo 3 will be fun.

The build up was great both times they fought.

Harrison capping on Charlo was comedy.

Tim Tszyu is slow and stiff. His dad was cat quick but he didn't inherit that.

He might get blown out by Harrison tbh

tszyu believes in himself and hes ability
he chose harrison over a stay busy easy beat fight because he believes in himself
probably not the smartest move from a business sense but isnt this what every fan of the sport wants
someone who is not afraid to take on the best even when they dont have too
i for one applaude tszyu and think hes risk will pay off when he beats harrison and it just makes the charlo fight all the much bigger

He might have heavier hands than his dad though. He is a heavy handed stalker and Harrison isnt the most durable. He is going to force the fight and land anywhere he can, body and head. I think Harrison is going to get beaten into submission.

Tim might have heavier hands than Kostya? No, not a chance.

Yea it's not even fair to compare Tim to Kostya. Dad is undoubtedly the better puncher and quicker on the trigger, but Tim's fists seems to be really dense. There are different types of power and he has the kind that can touch you anywhere and hurt you.
