Comments Thread For: Viktor Faust: I Had Pain in My Ribs, It Was Unbearable, I Couldn't Move

San Antonio, Texas - Trailing on two of the judges' scorecards, Cuban heavyweight Lenier Pero stunned Ukraine's Viktor Faust with a hard right to the body followed with a left hand that rendered Faust defenseless and out on his feet in the eighth round.

      What a bullchit article
Says Pero remained concentrated on ****ing the body
Ffs , he had 51 punches to the body
Do the math and that’s 5 punches per round if equally divided
Pero looked like he couldn’t crack a fughin egg honestly speaking
Even the extra blows delivered to Faust after he stopped throwing didn’t seem to annoy him one bit
My thinking is that someone took a real dive in the deep end
Somehow the commentators knew that he had broken ribs , please explain how they knew
Even then imo the fix was on

He landed most of those body shots in the last three rounds of the fight I believe. Faust says his body was first damaged in the sixth.

Why would the fix be in? Faust is NOT a PBC fighter. He competes for one of the bigger promotions in Germany. Faust was one of their big investments. They speculated his ribs were broken, which we still have no confirmation of, because after that body shot he dropped his hands, walked away and turned his back.

          Exactly my point
He’s not a PBC fighter on a PBC card
Pero looked like he couldn’t crack an egg
Evident by the couple of shots he gave Faust ( one to the back of the head ) and didn’t even faze Faust
You watched the fight right , did those shots look very hard to you ?
Was Faust ever troubled by any shots ?
Hey I know my accusation might be a stretch but not a far stretch
I’ve seen much worse in this sport
Damn weird ending to say the least

Go back and re-watch the fight! Pero was on those ribs from Rd. 1! You can visibly notice redness and swelling by Rd. 3! Obviously they were damaged by Rd.6! Then he cracked them open in Rd. 8.!

He doesn't look like a guy that defeated Frank Sanchez 3 times in the amateurs, but he did! Looks can be deceiving! I'd like to see him fight Kownacki or Demirezen! I think he would be a perfect test for Jared Anderson too, if they could make it happen!

I think he needs some learning fights before getting to that level and a good strength and conditioning coach. He looked quite soft

Viktor, when a Ukrainian soldier hiding in a muddy trench feels a slight pain in his ribs, can he roll over and quit? No, Viktor. He has to keep fighting.

You are a coward, Viktor. Most Slavs running around in Europe posing as Germans typically are.

He does need better conditioning, but he doesn't really need many "learning fights!" He's a Cuban fighter! They learn more by 18 than most fighters learn in a lifetime! He's already 30!
