  • Comments Thread For: Ben Shalom on Conor Benn: I Don't Know What the WBC Have To Do With Whether He's Fighting Or Not

Ben Shalom fails to see how the World Boxing Council factors into Conor Benn's attempts to turn back the results of two failed drug tests. Benn, the embattled British welterweight, and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, have repeatedly insisted that the WBC's

Hearn is a hypocrite what he said about Miller after the Joshua fight was cancelled due to his failed drug test but now saying Connor will fight again this year. People like Hearn are bringing boxing into disrepute.

At last a real article on this.
The 2 times ped cheat has no licence & is refusing to cooperate with the bbboc, rediculous. Instead he's begging a ranking system?? With a 270 page document blaming egg's. In which case every athlete on the planet would pop.

I really hoped the lad proved legitimate contamination & his innocence but what he's doing makes it look worse.

Eddie should be banned tofor dragging the sport into disrepute.

And what's Shalom got to do with Benn?!
Though it's interesting to see Benn finally shutting his mouth up. Why only now?

Yes, this WBC thing is just more smoke and mirrors from Benn & Hearn.

The lack of cooperation with ukad/BBBC alone should get him a ban.

Totally agree - Shalom is becoming as obnoxious as Hearn. It’s interesting that he’s been made by Sky Sports to explain his remarks that appeared to defend Liam Smith for his distasteful comments about Chris Eubank Jr.

              Good point about Benn, too.
