Comments Thread For: Conor Benn Proclaims Innocence in Instagram Post: Evidence Doesn't Lie; No Holes in the Truth

Conor Benn continues to make a case for his innocence. Benn, 26, scandalized the boxing world when it was revealed in October that he had failed a drug test, which led to the cancellation of his highly anticipated 157-pound catchweight fight with Chris Eubank Jr. A few weeks later, it was revealed that Benn had failed a previous test in the summer for the same substance, clomifene, a fertility drug. Both tests were administered by the third-party testing agency, Voluntary Anti-Doping Association.

    Says Who?! You, Connor?
Or when he said, "my lawyers have proved my innocence". To whom have they proved your innocence? To you?!
Deserves a hefty penalty just for ****** social media behavior while the case is still open.

Sure there was a thread on this 270 page document yesterday which seems to have vanished.

That 270 page document should be released as book in fiction section. Conor "Best selling author" Bann. I really want to see how you explain that two failed test in few months were mistakes.

Surely Benn hasn't taken that many blows to his head in his short career to be so punchy

I’m not an expert in this matter, so I won’t pretend to be, but I remember when Canelo popped he did a hair follicle test (which shows MUCHHHH more history and detail of usage which helps indicate intent of the athlete) which eventually came back to show Canelo had no real intent to cheat (according to the doctors who administrated the test. Don’t shoot me down Canelo haters lol) Not sure why every athlete that claims innocence doesn’t do the same in a public form for everyone to see.

Exactly has he even returned his "B sample" yet? a jargon-laden novel isn't going to prove his innocence were as the B sample should "set him free" or as you've suggested the hair follicle sample as it's far more accurate and goes back much further than bloods/urine (probably why they don't want to do it).

Him and his team are trying to pull the wool over naive people's eyes.

Either he popped dirty or he didn't. Anything is else is a long drawn out excuse in justifying or claiming ignorance.
