Comments Thread For: Roiman Villa: I Knew Fighters Like Ellis Get a Little Tired, I Took Advantage of That

Washington - Hard-hitting Roiman Villa (26-1, 24 KOs) storm back on the scorecards by dropping the previously unbeaten Rashidi Ellis (24-1, 15 KOs) twice in the 12th and final round to win a thrilling majority decision in their IBF welterweight title eliminator. One judge scored the fight 113-113, but was overruled by two 114-112 tallies in favor of Villa.

Give Ellis a rematch, win, and he's off and running on building his brand.

He's a real fighter, and I want to see more of him.

      Cong****.

Villa was relentless cong**** to him and I can't praise Sampson Lewkowicz enough for his eye for talent, found yet another outstanding Latin fighter that was flying under the radar who took advantage of the big stage

Where's Ugas and Crowley? Maybe Villa can fight one of them?

This was disgraceful. Villa got tapped up and outboxed for 8 or 9 rounds, gets two knock downs and wins the fight, as if it was even a close fight. I don't root for Ellis, but I'm just sickened to see someone get robbed like that, especially after going through a full training camp and clearly outboxing his opponent for the majority of the fight. Its a lesson learned as far as trying to cruise to the finish, but that doesn't make it right. He should have had his hand raised as the victor, and his trainers could have cursed him out afterward. That was just blatantly wrong.

                Post your RbB card

He didn't get outboxed for 8-9 rounds in a row, I keep seeing this but no cards to accompany the argument.

                My card:

If anyone is going to debate with you - they should at least show how they scored the fight. If not, they have nothing to go on.
