7 school/junior National titles I believe. European youth Gold and World youth Gold. A tremendous young talent, boxes with real fluidity which is something you don’t generally see with a lot of UK amateurs. I’m very excited to follow this kids career.

The management and promotional situation seems a little unusual, even unethical? It seems like he'll be managed and promoted by one entity (Queensbury). I'm not sure this is allowed in the UK but let's see if any major boxing publications raise this.

hope he gets a good pro coach to keep him using his attributes

Probably a good thing he turned pro so early. If he was around the amateur GB squad for years, they might’ve coached some things out of him.

You don’t stay around as long as Frank if you’re not a resilient old dog. Warren is running British boxing again, especially the heavyweights.

Let’s see if Eddie Hearn can show the same, i’m not sure.

The thing with Warren is he’s in a different league to Hearn in terms of building fighters from their debut and going through the levels. Hearn has had 2 or 3 successes in that regard. That’s why Warren will always find his way back.

Im not even sure Eddie is that interested now. A few years ago he would’ve been breaking his back to sign talents like this. I suppose DAZN UK being a flop thus far isn’t helping matters.

I’m hoping he goes to Shane McGuigan. He’s done a lot of sparring in that gym so knows Shane and the team pretty well.

Then again, I believe his brother still has his same amateur coach from St Mary’s ABC, so he might go pro with him.

Bob Arum has propped up Frank Warren and made him a serious threat to Eddie Hearn in the UK.

The old buzzard plays chess not checkers.

I don’t think Eddie has the know-how to regain top spot without Sky’s backing. Frank really knows the business and he has a lot of friends in the gyms that can find him a Dubois, a Sheeraz or a Nick Ball etc before they become nationally known.

I remember me and several other older posters calling his demise the moment he left Sky to go to DAZN. Sky made Eddie, and he was delusional enough to believe he made them.
