It's obviously a great itea, but the problem is that when we do get a 100% undisputed champion they hardly ever defend it, opting instead to move to another weight. Sadly it seems with at least 4 alphabet sanctioning bodies the good old day's of 1 weight champions such as Saldivar, Monzon, Hagler & Pedroza ETC are long gone.

Most times when all 4 belts get unified the winner moves up in weight and drops all the belts. That's why I like to hear that Jermell Charlo wants to stay at 154 and make title defenses.
