In the US, the substantive boxing year is all but done but that's only one piece of a global sports scene. Boxing's year is never really done until Father Time hands off the baton as the clock strikes twelve. New Year's Eve usually means at least one big card in Japan. 2022 is no different with the last of a flurry of unification clashes set to close the door on this fistic season.

    Intriguing fight.

Robert Garcia Jr. is with Franco, and Ismael Salas with Ioka, right?

The fight does not even show up on a sports channel listing so what the hell, why bother making articles about it???

Yea I thought that ESPN +++ might run it but I guess not now. Still I might be able to pick it up on Youtbue on NYDay...I am glad he wrote about the fight because there has not been a live fight on TV for a while and all this speculation and deep discussions about what he said or what they said or what would happen if articles are a drag to even click on when boxing is on Holiday for a while......
