  • Comments Thread For: Casimero-Akaho No-Contest Verdict Overruled By Commission, Casimero Awarded Knockout Win

John Riel Casimero's lone fight of the year was befitting of his bizarre 2022 campaign but ultimately ended on a high note. The Korea Boxing Member's Commission (KBMC) voted to change Casimero's previously declared No-Contest with Ryo Akaho to a second-round knockout win for the former three-division titlist earlier this month. When boxers start writing letters to commissions to admit they lost a fight (instead of getting a no contest), then times really have changed indeed.

akaho the nicest person in boxing right now.

              very unsportsmanlike!

I disagree with this decision. I wonder what it took to 'admit' he lost.
