  • Comments Thread For: Keyshawn Davis: "I'm Ready To Step It Up A Level And Go For The World Title"

At the age of 34 and with nearly two decades of experience under his belt, Juan Carlos Burgos has reached a point in his career where he's recognized as a seasoned vet. Still, even with a plethora of experience at the highest level, Keyshawn Davis viewed a win over the Mexican product as a necessity on his way up the lightweight ranks.

We got Rivera vs. Martin from PBC! Now could we get Davis vs. Muratalla from Top Rank? I doubt it. How about Nakathila or Jamaine Ortiz? At least Davis has talent in his stable! I want to see how GBP moves Floyd "Kid Austin" Schofield! Eventually I hope to see both these YGs, Davis & Schofield go at it!

Davis isn't ready for a title shot, as far as I see it.

Top Rank scored signing this kid. They always had the lower weight classes on lock. I’m surprised they don’t have Bam. Imagine what they could do with his career. Hearn took a page out of bobs playbook to save MR from tanking

Bam was bouncing around dazn an Top rank cards for a little while until he signed with dazn exclusively probaly offered him abit more money but one thing Top rank do very well is sign these very talented prospects an build them an match them pretty well. Some end up cutting it an some dont but it's always good to see these upcoming fighters develop an keyshawn is defiantly talented but I woudnt rush him just match him well an then see how things look end of 2023 in terms of world titles an stuff but he needs a few more step ups in class imo

Haney's only got one more fight at 135 then he's gonna move up and scatter the straps I'm sure they could maneuver Davis into getting one of them and Shakur another and set up a big marketable unification fight sometime by late 2024

7-0, this kid is about to get x'd. We've seen fighters that get brought up too fast like Reid and Vargas. All bent the knee.

U right. I’d think he’d get a shot in 2024. I love how TR builds fighters. Second to none imo. Who u think he should face next
