Comments Thread For: Keyshawn Davis: Guy Like Me, With Only 7 Fights, They Shouldn't Be Scared To Fight Me, Right?

NEW YORK - Keyshawn Davis's handlers understand that the ease with which he beat Juan Carlos Burgos on Saturday night both helped and hurt the elite lightweight prospect's cause.

They're not gonna call you out, and your promoter is not going to fast track you, like they did with Lomachenko! However, Jamaine Ortiz should be a consideration! Maybe Muratalla? Can't wait until Keyshawn and Floyd "Kid Austin" Schofield start fighting Top 15 Lightweights!

What's up with that hand gesture ? Is that for Autism or the football players that got shot ?

I hope that I'm wrong but I don't see too many people being eager to fight Keyshawn. He's really talented ,well schooled , and so far has looked like the real deal.

I'm not so sure I agree with Keyshawn. Burgos isn't a gate keeper, as much as a swinging door. Davis looks young and fast, but that's everybody coming up. Rolly, Ryan, he is no different. They aren't letting him close to the heat yet, not after that showing. He hit Burgos with his best shot and old, overweight, used up Burgos, made him look ordinary.

I'm glad he's training with Dud Crawford's coaches and not someone like Kay Koroma.

You can see he at least tries to go for the kill. Not that amateur point fighter mentality.
