Doesn't Ortiz already have a shot at the WBO title?

His name is in the title of the thread, and spelled correctly by several posters before you. Its not "whatever his name is". Stanionis is a ****er. Ortiz wins, but Stanionis isnt a chump like so many of these others guys today.

Eimantas Stanionis only got 15 fights on his record, yet he's already set to fight at top level. Jaron "Boots" Ennis already got 30 fights and have yet to fight a guy worth a damn.

            He should.

But Avanesyan (who ducked a fight with Ortiz) is getting the shot against Dud Crawford instead. Only in boxing, folks!

I like Stanionis who likes to brawl on the inside, but trying to challenge that power with Ortiz is a big no no. Can you guys imagine the action when these two square up on the inside throwing body shots!? You’re going to see the best of Stanionis flare up while it lasts!!

The fight with Ortiz was never mandated and clearly the offer was heavily biased in Ortiz's favour. If they really wanted it they should have offered a better deal.

The only reason this fight is happening is cause of the Errol protection program.

The WBA continue to show their favouritism (likely because of financial incentives). Stanionis was already the mandatory for Ugas' real WBA belt but now he's been mandated to fight Ortiz - the only way this situation makes sense is "thank you Al Haymon".
