Comments Thread For: Usyk: Fury Fighting Chisora Is Laughable, I Know Tyson Is Scared Of Me

Oleksandr Usyk has insisted all along that he intends to fight Tyson Fury in a heavyweight championship unification bout. In September, the WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBO titlist Usyk said he planned on taking a break until the first part of 2023 in order to allow his injuries to heal following a second consecutive decision victory against Anthony Joshua in August.

Usyk is coming off across as a goofy here, you said you weren't ready for December due to being injured whilst ironically playing charity basketball mere days after making said claim IF he didn't take a fight between he'd have 2 fights in what 3 years and would be going in against the most technical fighter he's fought since Wlad (8 years ago by time they fight), sounds like Usyk wants it easy.

Fury needed to stay active, but choosing a body bag like Chisora is a joke. He should have rematched Wallin. No one seems to want to fight Wallin.

Fury isn't AJ he can't sell out against randos he needs someone people can get behind and know like Chisora.

Ouch, fury won't like usyk saying he's scared. So fury pride and response will be a early March fight.
A month off then 8 week training camp sounds doable

Are you comparing training for the heavyweight championship of the world (intense workouts, hours and hours of sparring with giants) with playing charity basketball?

It was funny Fury kept giving Joshua 24-hour deadlines and then signs a fight with Chisora. Good luck to Usyk getting Fury to fight him if he won't even fight AJ. We all saw what happened with Cunnigham who isn't on Usyk's level

Usyk talks big for a dude that really is more boxer than fighter. Watch his fights with beterbiev and chisora. As soon as Tyson starts putting hands on him usyk will fold like a lawnchair

I know rewriting history is what folks do these days but let’s be a little more honest shall we? I’m not a fan of any of them but he gave a two week deadline not 24 hours.
