That would be big, a stadium fight sold out by two women.

Their fight was close enough and good enough that it merits a rematch.

I think Serrano should have gotten the nod the first time. I like the idea of a rematch, but not necessarily in Katie's back yard. Amanda will have to bring all that she has in order to upset Taylor at home.

Yeah, I feel like Serrano won the first fight, but taking the rematch in Ireland is a setup for failure by robbery or strong arming. I mean, I mean unless they make it worth the loss by giving her enough to retire and live comfortably.

I had serrano losing the first fight. She had her moments and that inc a 10-8 round of total domination where i thought KT couldn't survive...
but she did...and the majority of the rounds KT was winning. Serrano gassed herself in that 10-8 round, she should have paced herself better and been more consistent.

With that said, i guess the lure of the money is too great for KT. in her position i wouldnt grant another opp to amanda serrano given how she deliberately derailed the fight long enough for KT to get significally older, go through wars with other fighters whilst fighting bums herself.

I agree with posters who thought Katie eecked by, but I think the 2 minute rounds are a big advantage to the boxers and a real handicap for the punchers in the sport like Marshall and Serrano. Serrano had Katie that round, and even if she only produced a knockdown, or everything but and somehow getting a 10-8 round, I think that should have given her the fight, or a draw.

1 fight in serranos hometown and one in taylors in a stadium to maximize revenue, how can anyone see anything bad with that, if serrano doesnt hurt taylor she is going to lose anyway doesnt matter where the fight is, serrano a tough nut to negotiate with tho, thats the only block i can see on it, i hope she doesnt stall the fight but i dont think ive read anything from her to suggest its on her radar any time soon, who knows

Good points and frankly that’s why I have interest in Taylor-Serrano II. I think Serrano wouldn’t be that broken up if she lost as long as she’s paid extremely well for fighting in Ireland and possibly getting a bad decision. I have a bad feeling Taylor will approach a rematch the way GGG approached the third fight with Canelo - it’s a nice cash grab.
