Loma couldn’t make eye contact with Haney—he seemed to have been in this weird, bashful, child-like demeanor about himself when Osuna interviewed the next to each other. So strange.

You don't have to like him, but acknowledge the skills. He gave up height and reach to a young athletic guy, yet he was still the sharper, crisper puncher, and clearly the more skilled guy.

The reason Loma is top of my list is because I have never seen a style like the one he has, and because he moves mostly forward or laterally at lightning speed. I can’t see that there’s any fighter, black or white, with this guy’s style (even Usyk doesn’t play the game like he does)

From what I’ve seen, the boxers with the skills that get criticised have great defensive skills, but fight with a primarily defensive. outlook.

To me, this is also great to watch in a diff way. It’s only casuals that complain about this.

Props to Ortiz...he did MUCH better than I expected him to. He almost pulled it off. Loma didn't really look like the old Loma.

But he just lost to another green kid who's not even primed yet. Lol

Loma has been a manufactured hype job from day one.

Loma looked ok, a bit rusty and old but got the job done, doubt he beats Haney.

He won, but it wasn't dominate by Loma.

Loma needs to go back down to featherweight. Considering most fighters cut unnaturally to make their smallest weight class to have an advantage.. he's in a bad spot. It's his eight consecutive fight facing someone who is taller and has longer arm reach. It's the whole issue with Canelo going up to light heavy.. yeah Canelo is really good and can do it but he puts himself at a massive disadvantage by doing so. Same with Loma.

Don't agree with the score cards, but Loma won that fight by taking control in the later rounds even with ring rust. Dre said he didn't see ring rust in Loma. Served a lot time in the Army and you don't do much road work or sparing when out in the field.
