Comments Thread For: Lomachenko: I'm Not Thinking About If This Step Up Is Too Much For Ortiz Or Not

Jamaine Ortiz produced the most noteworthy victory of his six-year professional career in his last fight. The undefeated lightweight out-boxed former WBO junior lightweight champion Jamel Herring and won a 10-round unanimous decision in a co-feature ESPN broadcast May 21 from Resorts World Las Vegas. Loma better play with Ortiz. Haney said he would be ringside. If Vasyl looks like the matrix then Devin will move to 140.

I agree. Paulie M. Said the same thing.

I don't mind what he does because 140 has more threats than 135, Loma is probably a natural 130lber, with short arms and respectable power - but there are way more dangerous fighters at 140, fighters who're bigger, longer and hit much harder.

Dwarf? What you said proves you are a mental midget.

Just watched Jamaine Ortiz vs Joe Adorno. Loma washes Jamaine. Jamaine has a great chin and a good motor, but he’s very basic

One of if not the most accomplished fighters in the small number of fights he's had across multiple divisions but he's a "circus clown"!?

Bet you worship the likes of Tank or Wilder for racial reasons...

Ortiz has no chance. Loma superior in every way. Thid gets Loma an easy payday in a fight that returns his aura and sets up the Haney fight.

Some give Ortiz credit for beating the smaller Herring, who had gotten beaten up by Stevenson 7 months prior. He won't be able to do anything with Lomachenko.
