Comments Thread For: Warren, Arum Defend Against Criticism Surrounding Fury-Chisora Trilogy Fight

A pair of Hall of Fame promoters came fully prepared for the hard sell on their next heavyweight championship event. Bob Arum and Frank Warren expected some resistance to the news of Tyson Fury defending his lineal and WBC heavyweight crown against countryman Derek Chisora in a trilogy clash that was far from in demand. Their bout will take

I would rather see Chisora fight all the PBC bums in one night but Joyce would have blatantly made himself ready for this fight

This is an ideal warm up fight and Tyson can not hang his chin out as proven with Chisoria. If all goes to plan it's Del then Usyk then Joe Joyce . Even my man Ali had warm ups throughout his career like Dunn ,Wepner after foreman , coopman after Frazier and who would go for a novice fighting the 'greatest' in only his seventh fight (and winning)! Leon Spinks . Get some prospective here Del is going to give it his all and knows he's got to go for the KO . and then Usyk if he stops talking about moving down. We would not be here if Joshua wanted this fight....period!

They really used boxrec rankings as their justification?!?!?!
f.o.h.....Ruiz or Ortiz shouldve been called if thats the excuse. Hell Dubois wouldve been better than Chisora. This fight is

You do realize Chisora lost to one of those bums, so does that make him one? Not sure why fans like to call trained professional fighters bums when you know you can't beat any of them.

I understand the thinking here but rinse and return I’m not sure cuts it with the purists or even casuals come to that end n Christmas month when money is tight but then again they are looking to catch the irresponsible just as they’ve been paid their Christmas salery .

Chisora and Fury are friends lol. This is nothing more that a money grab for a sparring session. We already know who is going to win

"Chisora’s career following the two defeats to Fury haven’t been quite as impressive, sporting a 13-7 mark in his twenty fights following the repeat defeat to Fury. Among the defeats was an October 2020 points loss to Usyk, who then went on to twice defeat Joshua."
