Comments Thread For: Devin Haney, George Kambosos Make Weight, Exchange Shoves Ahead Of Championship Rematch

George Kambosos Jr. declined to go the deception and Art of War route this time around at the scales. The former lineal and unified lightweight titlist only needed one try to come within the divisional limit for his repeat showdown with Devin Haney. Kambosos appeared in peak condition as he weighed a ripped and lean 134.04 pounds,

That's what I'm thinking too, I don't think George has anything that can trouble him. He doesn't have the size, power or precision to do anything that can overwhelm him, plus Haney is going to be 150+ come fight night. I don't think he stays at 135 after this he looked a little dry, but I don't think that will play a part in the outcome.

If Kambosos were to pull it off I would consider it a bigger upset than the Teofimo fight but I wouldn't bet money on it his confidence seemed to be lacking a bit during fight week.

Haney by a shutout. Possibly a late stoppage.

Maybe the outcome is the same, but I think both can do better than the first fight.

Haney might not have another 135lbs fight in him. Bob can't drag the Loma fight well into 2023.

Is that Sor Rungvisai who beat Chocolatito moving up to 118 now? Know he is old, know he lost his last, but he should have too much for Maloney
