By Cliff Rold - Cliches work because they're true often enough to feel universal. One in particular comes to mind heading into the outstanding doubleheader at the O2 Arena on Saturday (ESPN+, 2:30 PM EST). Good things come to those who wait. Fans of women's boxing have waited a long time for a year like 2022. In April, thousands packed Madison Square Garden for the superfight between lightweight champion Katie Taylor and featherweight champion Amanda Serrano. It was arguably the biggest women's fight of all time.

Katie Taylor is the goat man, everybody with boxing knowledge knows that. Shields is the best at dropping to her knees alright. We will agree to that my friend.

Queen Elizabeth reign goes back to the carnage inflicted on over a dozen African nations under colonialism. Millions dead under her command.
I say good riddance and hopefully she rots in hell.

So you understand that the rapid decolonisation of the British Empire occurred under her reign? You seem a bit iffy on the lack of power wielded by the head of state in a constitutional monarchy though.

You are correct in the context of the power structure, however, the monarchy did profit from their position by not only grabbing huge tracks of land in Kenya for example but sat in a position where they could sway the constitutional government to stop the genocide that happened all over the lands they “owned”.
The wealth (gold, diamonds, art, etc) that the monarchy continues to hoard is still in their hands - wealth that could change a place like Zimbabwe for example.

                African “nations.” That’s hilarious.

Mugabe is long dead. More important, he wasn’t a white colonialist.
That’s not to say he wasn’t a piece of shït dictator. He was but he did not go to Europe to loot, pillage, or commit genocide on Europeans.
