Comments Thread For: Fury: Wilder Punches Five Times Harder Than Whyte - He'll KO Helenius!

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is backing his trilogy rival, Deontay Wilder, to score a knockout victory over Robert Helenius. Wilder returns this Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where he steps in the ring for the first time in a year - with Helenius in the other corner.

Id say Wilder probably dont hit as hard now hes had the bejesus beating out of him by Fury, Wilder must be gun shy now. But Wilder will ko Helenius.

Considering how delusional and crazy Wilder is it is a mystery whether he is gun shy like you say or if he'll go out guns blazing.

Because Helenius isn't really an elite fighter I expect Wilder to blast him out but I am interested to see the damage Fury did to him just like everyone else.

Yes Helenius isnt really elite so Wilder could blast him out and it wont be noticeable that Wilder is gun shy. But get him in the ring with someone who hits quite hard who feints a lot im sure you will see Wilder hesitant and nerves will show.

Helenius is a big guy, and he’s grinding hard because he knows this is his big moment, so he always has that chance.

But nah. I’m still predicting Wilder by decapitation.

What's Wilder's power like when he's not taking steroids I wonder.

I have a great idea that will satisfy your curiosity. Since we’ve already seen Wilder respond to people on his social media like when he met that Charlie Zelenoff guy at the gym, just hit his DM’s and tell him that you’d personally like to see how hard he hits now that he’s not taking steroids. Please have someone film it and post it here. Everyone wins.

The division is not very deep. Wilder should still be able to knock out all guys except Fury, Usyk, Sanchez, Joyce. Joshua is 50 -50 fight IMO.

Helenius is a glorified journeyman, so yes, he will lose by a KO very likely.

I like Tyson Fury. But I wish he would stop churching up Wilder. You can tell he thinks that if Wilder isn’t great, then he isn’t so great. If Wilder goes and destroys everyone he gets in with, Fury feels he is that much better. Stop trying to force a narrative. It will happen on its own if it’s going to happen, not because you go on and on about how powerful he is and you’re the god that survived him.

Wilder should win and he has the power to knockout Helenius, but a healthy Helenius with 2 hands can hurt anyone as well. Helenius doesn't move his head a lot and I think that will be his downfall but neither does Wilder and Helenius has some sneaky uppercuts that could find the target. I'm still picking Wilder but an upset honestly wouldn't surprise me, I do hope Deontay pulls it off so we can see him vs Ruiz or Usyk though.
