Prograis is right about "killer vs killer." He's elite, and has an argument that he should have gotten the decision against Taylor: it was very close. Zepeda is elite as well. I thought Zepeda edged Ramirez - so he too should have gotten a title. This should be a very good fight.

Yes, had Regis just closed stronger, given a little more in the final couple of rounds, he would have won that fight. But he didn't and I really hope he learned from that defeat. Zepeda is a real good puncher but I think Orograis might just be a little too much for him. Great match up though

But Prograis did close out stronger as Taylor's eye had swollen quite badly?

I see it as Prograis losing even wider had Taylor's eye been alright. But he was just trying to minimize the damage in the last couple to get over the line and take the titles.

This is going to be a great fight, and Prograis is absolutely right about "it's killer vs killer", unfortunately for him I think he's going to wind up the corpse
(figuratively speaking), of course.
Memories of Zepeda's last few scintillating knockout win's against Vargas, and Baranchyk, were nothing short of amazing.
While Prograis recent win's haven'y as noteworthy, or against better opposition than the opponent's that Zepeda has beaten around the same time period.
That said an enormous fight between to of the very best in the 140 pound division, and who ever is victorious in this fight will have some serious bragging right's.
It also look's like 2 of Fernando "El Feroz" Vargas', son's are on the card so far Fernando 6-0, and Amado 4-0, let's see if they turn out to be a chip off the old block.
