"Mahmoud Charr and Derek Chisora have been floated as potential names to fight Fury."

What makes either of them more appealing than Joe Joyce or Daniel DuBois? Michael Hunter and Andy Ruiz are looking for dance partners too!

all this detail makes Warren's version more believable plus it makes sense for Joshua to take a couple of re-build fights

you're shouting into the wind and will just hear your words come back to you - I get that as a fan you want certain fights but you know by now how the biz of boxing works

Fury is on hold pattern until Usyk becomes available

If this is true, it would seem that AJ's team weren't as keen.

But, there are three sides to a story, the two sides, and the truth in the middle.

“Frank Smith” is likely the alias of a Hearniac Incel always defending the honor of Matchroom on this site.

This fight would have made Joshua more money than some re-build fights.

                His side ducked.

If Fury kept his trap shut and continued training for a December 3rd fight regardless of opponent, then Hearn would have had no choice to blatently duck or go for it, but now Hearn has a excuse as Furys nonsense being the ultimate stumbling block.

Hearn was quoted in saying 'let us do our own thing and let them do theirs and see were it goes' .....sounds like his mouthing the words for Joshua.
I understand with the deal for Joshua starting in his next fight with Dazn, to take yet another loss and maybe a real hammering would be hard to swallow for all concerned. I hope Joshua struggles in his quest for another easy title fight he doesn't deserve.
