It's just been confirmed Barrett will get his shot and I think it's a competitive fight. Rakhimov is tough and has a great engine but hasn't hasn't been very active. While Barrett is faster, has a good work rate too, and he'll come in with the height and reach advantage - I'm going with Barrett by UD.

For any fighter out there entranced by the green and gold WBC or the tradition of the WBA take notice. The IBF is where you have the best shot off actually getting your title shot !

Best of a bad bunch but they were better a few years ago, the obvious situation is their special treatment of Spence - who hasn't fought an IBF mandatory in around 3/4 years.

With Matchroom's arrogance, this is a great move by the IBF, let's them know the sanctioning bodies are still running the show!

What was arrogant about Matchroom regarding this situation?

I have mad respect for Cordina and it sucks to see a good champion stripped of his belt due to injury, but unfortunately this is the right way to do things given fighters faking injuries left and right to put-off or avoid fights.

                  Long live the IBF.

                    This is nonsense.

They let Spence hold the belt without fighting mandatories.

                    Obvious favoritism.

Yes, the IBF is the best of a bad bunch, but that's not saying much for them.
