I believe Verno Phillips was 3 time world champ to my knowledge so that's the closest I think so I believe Snuff Armstrong claims that he is Verno Phillips.

But Verno was also on the undercard!

It's technically "his" also because Verno/Ike Quartey match is pretty big it could be double headliner card I don't think it necessarily means he was in the MAIN match up. Technically if you think about it, anyone UNDER you in an undercard can be thought of as fighting in "your" undercard.

And it depends how the fight was billed you don't necessarily know unless you remember the exact fight there's some that have double headliners where the 2nd act might be not as big but is still not necessarily an 'undercard' since Quartey/Phillips are decently big names themselves.

Well Mr. Phillips, you obviously wanted at least somewhat of a mystery and guessing game otherwise you wouldn't have thrown those very subtle clue-crumbs at us where you mentioned about meeting Ward at "your undercard." You could have just said "you met Ward" somewhere if you truly wanted to remain anonymous because dozens of us have met Ward, hell I've even met him at some pre olympics photo session in Gleasons Gym in BK, NYC.
So like I said, it seems a part of you does want people to know who you are so we were glad to carry out your subconscious detective wishes.
