True... but also true...Andre Ward also refused to fight at 160lbs and when Canelo pressed Andre Ward for a fight at 168 it took Andre a split second to turn him down.

Go ahead and give me the name of your favorite fighter and I can very easily find something to bury them with if that is the goal here. Easy pesy, something equally as fringe and nonsensical in the big picture. Then I'll keep repeating it as though it was something that should define them and their career to justify a hate filled bias.

If that sound familar? Because it's what you are doing.

I happen to love Ward but I have to be honest. The bottom line...Andre Ward has always resented anyone that makes super star money because he didn't, and that has been a thorn in his side for years.

Wards style and lack of promotional hype kept him from making GGG/Canelo (place name here) money and Ward resents them for it.

Nobody is perfect but lets call it what it is...Ward feels slighted, he's jealous and, deep down he feels race was a part of it. Ward resents the fact that he was never exalted by the masses and paid like Canelo, simple as that.

Ggg ducked ward that’s a fact. He also refused to fight anyone outside of 169 his whole career and sat in europe while hopkins Pavlik Taylor and Martinez all ruled MW all who would’ve beat him. Ggg a myth. His best win is kell Brook. A WW who lost to blown up LW Terence Crawford

this is untrue. Ward was paid handsomely for his 2 fights with kovalev. He makes good money announcing and he retired early of his own volition. He definitely could have fought canelo he probably still could. Stop making up narratives. Him and lil g were both on HBO and featured bumlovkin and him didn’t have many marquee matchups the fight was proposed and ward wanted it Ofc as ggg was heavily hyped but ggg didn’t want the smoke. He never wanted the smoke with anyone

I completely disagree with Ward here. GGG did way better than anyone expected. He tried his best for a 40 year old. He had a slow start but once Canelo started fading, GGG definitely sensed it and picked up his own pace.

GGGimmick is a legendary Mexican Style Fraud. Ward is true top 100 All-Time but should have fought Stevenson for undisputed. Unfortunately, that would have required Haymon and Jay Z to work together. See Andrade vs Jermall Charlo, and Beyond and Matthew Knowles.

And what was Ward doing when he was 40. Oh yeah he’s only 38. And has been retired 5 years after two gift decisions he should’ve lost. Never rated Ward who butted, held and low blowed his way to success. Quite how he has the gall to criticise someone still actively fighting who’s 2 years older than him after being retired for 5 years is beyond me. Sour grapes as he knew Golovkin would’ve beaten him at 160 with some ease.

This is so inaccurate. Who has ggg defeated, leading up to the canelo bout to make y’all believe he could actually defeat Alvarez??? When we rate him by opposition, canelo is levels above G

“I don’t think he wanted to fight some of those fighters. I’m not talking about me. There were certain guys that you and I know being at HBO that he wasn’t going to fight.” Ward beat a past it, alcoholic Kovalev and got the fuck outta dodge to avoid the real dangers @ LHW, like Beterbiev, Gvozdyk and Stevenson.

Supposedly he did beat Alvarez according to other haters so wtf are you taking about. It was a dead even fight and Canelo shined all three times
