I have to agree with you brother bcalvert1, it not only sounds ass-backwards , but it makes Jermell sound hesitant to take on Terrance himself.
I don't think that's the case because Terrance hasn't backed off of anyone in his career as a boxer, so if he move's up Terrance do the right thing, and accept his challenge.
That's what true champion's do, and that's what "Lion's Only" are supposed to do as well, don't pull a Jermall who's become MIA, as of late.

I feel like Jermell is simply disparaging Bud, as if he'd be pasted by Lubin-level fighters at 154; far from contending with himself. I don't see it as a ducking comment. I'm a Crawford fan straight up, but I like Charlo's boxing too (not necessarily his personality), so I don't feel I'm biased in this. And I don't think Jermell is afraid to fight Terence - or anybody in his weight class, really (okay, maybe Fundora - but who isn't almost, the dude is a F r E A k).

This is all just posturing, as many fighters do.

Crawford is a living legend, no doubt. But, Jermell isn't far behind with what he's accomplished so far. If they fight, I'll pull for Crawford, as I am against Spence, but if Spence clearly beats Crawford or if Jermell does, I'm gonna be amazed and give credit where due, even though I won't like that outcome. Both would be great fights. I really hope we get Crawford-Spence.

No Jermell isn't afraid, he's just trying to disrespect Terrance, so we have to heckle Jermell right back.
Their fight would be a pitched battle between two of boxing's current superstar's, both having been champion's in multiple weight classes.
