Fact is Conceaico is better than Valdez. Shakur and his team value a win more than the 130 belts. He likely needs the extra weight to win.

It seems like guys place great importance on getting titles, but not necessarily keeping the titles, especially if you have a weight issue.

A guy like Jaron Ennis is also very big for welterweight, he'll be comfy at middleweight.

Although the New Jersey native is still in the infancy stages of his career, he never appeared to have any trouble with making weight.
