Mayweather, Cotto, GGG were the best of their division at the time. Mayweather and GGG were in The Ring top 5 P4P when Canelo fought them, at #1 and #4 respectively.

Kovalev was ranked #2 by The Ring at 175.

Reading the headline, assumed Canelo was saying G was getting hit because Murata wasn’t constantly loading up, like he does himself.

Ofc, reading his actual reasoning I gotta disagree, on the basis that G always gets tagged, not just by Murata.

However, now his reflexes are shot, he’s getting tagged worse than ever. Can’t escape the sense that he took too many flush punches to the brain in the second Canelo fight.

Obviously, Canelo’s just using a coping mechanism due to criticism about fighting a Golovkin that has looked faded.
