  • Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker Promises Revival, Joe Joyce Beatdown: 'I Believe I Belong At The Top'

Joseph Parker has been among one of the top heavyweight contenders in boxing for better parts of the last half-decade. Parker (30-2, 21 KOs) held the WBO heavyweight title from 2016 when he beat Andy Ruiz Jr. all the way to 2018 when he lost a decision to Anthony Joshua.

See this fight as a relatively one sided beat down of Joyce tbh, he's never had to deal with a mover of this calibre or the hand speed of Parker.

And the amount of time he gets hit by lesser oppositions overhand right is beyond alarming as well as the reaction to the one solid body shot Jennings landed on him it just doesn't bode well for him.

Dubois is a lot faster and better than Parker and Joyce while I felt he was losing that fight did just fine. Parker won’t break Joyce down it’ll be the other way around

Parker won't break anything, he's not up to no power. He got a chin, the only way he win this fight is punching and running, if he goes mano a mano hell lose by KO. Joyse endurance is no joke.

Parker will get jabbed up . Will try and do the bare minimum and try and sc**** the win

I’ve never seen Parker lay a beat down on anyone never mind a big lump like Joyce

I think Parker outboxes him to UD. Unlike Dubois, Parker actually knows how to move his head and he is much faster.

Who's trolling? Takam and Hammer were moving him about with their overhands and he reacted horrendously to Jennings one solid body shot it's a shame Jennings didn't pick up on it then we'd be able to see if Joyce actually has a bit of grit to him.

And Parker is looking slightly improved under Andy Lee at the higher weight as well, you're acting as if Parker doesn't have the edge in every department apart from arguably power and chin.

That shot by Jennings broke a rib or 2 I'm sure but absolutely nobody, not even the commentary i watched picked up on it. Tbh i was impressed with how Joyce took it & acted like nothings happened.

I cant see Parker beating Joyce down, loosing to a gatekeeper like Whyte is a big mark on his record, though i could potentially see him squeaking out a point's decision.

I'm intrigued to what would happen if Joyce got tagged, would he be out on his feet like Bruno or Martin against Ortiz? Because his beard is rediculous.

Oh & forget about that troll comment, he's just trying to fish people in without having any actual opinion.

Interesting. I actually see Parker getting battered in this fight. I actually predict a KO in rounds 8-10.
