Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Rate Eubank; I Don't Think He Beats Charlo, Golovkin, Canelo

Eddie Hearn believes Chris Eubank Jr. would have a tough time beating the world champions at 160 and 168. Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing, was recently asked to evaluate the resume and ability of Eubank, who will be taking on Hearn's charge, the welterweight Conor Benn, in a highly anticipated catchweight bout on Oct. 8 at The O2 Arena in London on DAZN Pay-Per-View.

Eubank Jr has got a strong chin it seems, limited boxing skill, and made some money.

He's nowhere near the skill level of his dad, but not fair to compare him to his father. People expect a lot, and sometimes too much, just like Chavez Jr could never fight like dad.

Eubanks isn't beating Benn drained. That's not an excuse, but a reason. Excuses and reasons aren't the same

Eubank was yesterday commenting that dazn youtube stuff and eating kfc. He's not in the sport with serious intentions to be great but to make some money and get his face in the news

I think eubanks wants to be great but he thinks he can do it not dedicating himself. He's got overacted opinion of himself.
Just like he thinks he can beat Benn at 60%

Eubank Sr. wasn't skill machine either.

Have been tracking Eubank jr career graph.. After George Groves fight he may have realized his limitations and abilities. His motivation also went few notches down

I liked Eubank Jr, but he wasted his career. Also Roy Jones style doesn't really suit him. He needs to hybrid that style more.

So many big fights have come and gone...wasted

Jr. in boxing terms is a clown . He is signed to fight an untested guy two divisions below him and the weight is no accident as he was trying to set up something with a 154 fighter in Liam Smith.Ignore Hearn he makes no sense , should Jr. beat Benn he doesn't deserve to fight either G. or Canelo at Wembley Stadium (lol what a twat).Hearn has got to look else where since his cash cow Joshua has been exposed again.
