  • Comments Thread For: Probellum Claims Damages, Seeks Injunction In Lawsuit Against BOXXER And Ben Shalom

Probellum and its founders are prepared to go the distance in its legal battle with a rival promoter. As previously reported by BoxingScene.com, Probellum and company co-founders Richard Schaefer and Ali Shams Pour have filed a defamation lawsuit against BOXXER and promoter Ben Shalom, who operates as CEO and director of the first-year UK-based outfit. The case was first submitted on June 21 in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales, followed on July 13 with an expanded 10-page Particulars of Claim filing, a copy of which was obtained by BoxingScene.com.

I always thought there was some kind of weird link between Boxxer and Probellum. The way Shalom, a young dude, shot to the fore out of obscurity made it feel like he was Kinehan backed.

Yea, I've seen a lot of similar insinuations. This proves they aren't.

Adam Smith picked young Shalom cuz he needed an obedient biatch, and that is exactly who Shalom is.
Smith is in charge of Sky Boxing and Boxxer.

How do you know that? He’s not on their board of directors. Or do you mean he tells them what to do but has no financial/legal ties to the company?

Just the name Probellum for combat sports was already registered by MTK. Probellum is supposedly run by Harrison Whitman and Richard Schaefer - two west coast US-based guys - but are based in Dubai. The money guy Pour - produced a video to try to rehab Kinahan's reputation. I have no idea how the British litigation system works but I'd love to see Boxxer's attorneys start digging into all of this stuff to find out just how involved Kinahan was in Probellum.
