Maybe Davis should impose rehydration clauses and overweight penalties, like Canelo. People should stay consistent and spare the fans the fake outrage. If it doesn't happen, who cares? Ryan hasn't done ANYTHING whatsoever in boxing.

Im pretty sure they don't want to give away the physical advantages they would give Ryan at a higher weight, Davis is such a little guy he is handicapped right there so why would they want to fight the bigger guy at a bigger weight. Ryan should call Floyds bluff he had 99% of his fights at 135 whats one more.

You could be right but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were using this weight as a way to leverage a higher percentage of the fight.

Right now Floyd’s saying 135 or no fight. I think both sides are just boasting. Sooner or later we’ll find out what the real number will be. I don’t think 140 is a deal breaker for Tanks side. I’m sure they are using this 135 weight as leverage to get some other things in their favor.
