Danny is a great fighter and a solid citizen. I am convinced he would still be undefeated if he were just a little bit busier in the ring. I enjoy watching his fights.

Garcia can sometimes be a slave to his counterpunching style. That style has worked so well against contenders and solid champions but it’s failed him a bit when he faces the p4p types or those just out of it. He has a cast iron chin which had worked well for him but there is a tendency to wait to land the big one

Danny Garcia at 140 probably has one of the best resumes of all time but once he moved up to 147…..he’s just been a journeyman to he honest. You can make the argument that he fought Spence,Porter and Thurman and came up short but other than Spence the whole PBC 147lb kings were never that great to begin with. None of their fights were legendary night material.

What will be disappointing is that a win over another part time fighter Benevidez will give him a title shot at 154 once Charlo vacants the belts at 154. Garcia just going to find the easiest way to a belt like Santa Cruz or Broner.

Danny should had added another trainer years ago. He got stuck in his style and waits too much costing him fights because of low output.

Now at 34 he is going to be a name in a resume at 154 unless the are selective with the fighters they face.

lol...Garcia is an overachiever who didn't accomplish all that much. Knocking out Amir Khan is the highlight of his career, not exactly the best resume in any way shape or form.
