  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: After GGG Trilogy, Canelo Wants To Go Straight To Bivol Rematch

Eddie Hearn continues to take issues with Oscar De La Hoya's continued criticisms regarding Canelo Alvarez being matched against Dmitry Bivol. Back in May, Canelo moved up to the light heavyweight division to challenge Bivol for the WBA title. The Russian boxer outboxed Canelo over twelve rounds to secure a dominant decision win.

The Lord God Canelo may well want Bivol after GGG, but the main percentage of fans want Beterbiev Vs Bivol next!!.....

I’d like to see Bivol vs Beterbeiv, but they’re both finally getting some recognition,so before one knocks the other off, bring on that Canelo rematch…Bivol will give him a boxing lesson again.

          Wrong!!!!

more folks would turn out for canelo rematch than bivol v betterbieve that's a fact. Contrary to what a few here think, betterbieve isn't known outside hard-core fans and its the casuals who fill the seats and buy ppv not the people here.

Canelo should avoid Bivol rematch. Go fight Benavidez and prove you are the best at 168. Losing to Bivol twice is not a good idea.

Bivol Vs Canelo is a good rematch but bivol wins that again he’s too good

I believe since Canelo has seen Bivol and felt what power he may posses I think he has him figured out. This wouldn’t be the same fight and I believe Canelo would be in constant attack mode and not try to box him from distance.

Bivol felt the best Canelo`s shots and smiled. Canelo landed a big uppercut on him, Bivol felt nothing.

Bivol had a little respect in first 4 rounds. Now he knows exactly Canelo can`t hurt him.

Nelo doesn't have the stamina to mount a constant attack... also I think he doesn't have the power @ 175 to rattle Bivol...
