Comments Thread For: Frank Martin: I'm Right There With Those Top Guys at Lightweight

Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas - Unbeaten rising star Frank Martin (16-0, 12 KOs) showed the full complement of skills that has made him one of the most talked about up-and-comers in the 135-pound division, as he delivered a methodical destruction on his way to stopping Jackson Marinez (19-3, 7 KOs) in the 10th and final round.

Well Pitbull has a fight comng up, Rolly coming off a KO, so Michel "Ali "Rivera would be the best option, if Rivera doesn't get a shot at Tank!

Guys I'm not sold on YET including this guy: Rashidi Ellis, Vergil Ortiz, Jaron Ennis. We'll see.

Ortiz is likely legit, BUT Boots is just a few fights away from Hagler/Hearns (with him as Hearns).

Him eating clean punches is going to catch up with him.

No. Ennis is better than Ortiz. Ortiz isn't going anywhere.

Ennis won't be better than Ortiz while eating clean punches.

Stop letting the 'eye test' cloud your judgment.

Mayorga looked like a world beater too - until he started letting guys hit him clean.

Ortiz will definitely go further than Ennis. Ortiz is fine fighter to watch his punch selection is top of the food chain.

I had Marinez up by 3 rounds before the TKO.

                    Martin should fight Richard Commey.
