Tommy Morrison looked like a star, left hooked like a star, and crashed like a shooting star leaving behind a trail of wishes unfulfilled. Man, I remember his ferocity and that great left hook. The fight with Ray Mercer was so brutal.

He surprised me with some silky smooth, beautiful boxing against George Foreman, outboxing him for 12 rounds. That was his best performance. God bless his soul.

Morrison fought the wrong fight in the end. Should have fought the illness instead of the diagnosis. Helluva character

If prime Tommy Morrison was around today I'd favor him over AJ.
