In an exciting fight that had a little bit of everything, Mexico's Daniel "Cejitas" Valladares became IBF minimumweight world champion, by securing a well-deserved twelve round split decision over Filipino Rene Mark Cuarto in the main event of a card presented by Bxstrs at the Deportivo Revolucion in San Nicolas de la Garza, which was broadcast live internationally by ESPN KnockOut.

I forgot this was a division. I remember back in the 80s when straweight was added.

Pretty sure the only fights at straweight I saw were Ricardo Lopez on 90s undercards by Don King.

Speaking of DK, it looks like he is pretty much done with boxing.

To summarize, he killed two men and stole from a lot of his fighters.

But he put on some awesome cards, you had JCC sr, Fenech, Nelson, Terry Norris Lopez on undercards, all HOF guys.

I will miss him when he is gone, and so will alot of you.

Try saying the same thing about Eddie Hearn down the road.
