Ortiz is a beast. But McKinson is tough. And better than he looks. I watched him and thought he's dreadful. But watched him a little more, and whilst he's not gonna be top class, he certainly is no mug. He's one of those guys that's deceptive, and is easy to write off. That said Vergil should definitely win this. I just think it might take longer than most will think.

When a fighter is as offensively talented as Ortiz, it's nearly impossible for a guy without power to beat him unless he gases out which isn't happening here.

          Yup

This fight will end up like Porter vs Malignaggi with Ortiz having no respect and getting a KO with 6

Ortiz took one thump from Kava and they turned down the heat. We saw him do the stanky leg, his chin is what they're protecting. Macs 2 kos wouldn't be considered adequate but for precautions. Nobody asked for this.

Mckinson with only 2 ko's!! i see him surviving & STRICTLY avoiding to be hit & more than likely avoiding the fight altogether... Ortiz should win though... all depends if Mckinson steps up or steps out

How are they "protecting" him when the fight was first offered to another big puncher in Avenesyan? Ortiz took took a shot from one of the biggest pinchers at 147,same guy who dropped Crawford, only to come back to beat Kavas ass up.Vergil doesn't need protecting nor does he seem the type of guy to allow it.

I've seen nothing from McKinson to make me think he beats anyone of note. Ortiz inside of four after getting a few rds in.

I’m excited for this card and really looking forward to it. May the best man win.
Avanesyan would have been a legit opponent. So who is Ortiz fighting next? Ortiz is legit and somewhat proven. This fight is beneath him. Someone legit better be next or I will give as much as **** about Ortiz as I do about Munguia which is none.

You mean five clean shots and an elbow.

Plus he knocked out Avanesyan and hurt a 32 year old Crawford before as well.
