Comments Thread For: Bam Rodriguez: I Feel Good At 115; Here To Stay, This Title Isn't Going Anywhere

Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez has comfortably grown into his new role as a top junior bantamweight. The unbeaten WBC 115-pound titlist was a little heavier than challenger and former two-time champ Srisaket Sor Rungvisai for their 30-day safety weight check ahead of their upcoming title fight. Rodriguez (15-0, 11KOs) weighed 125 pounds for the WBC-mandated weigh-in, while Sor Rungvisai was 124 1/2 pounds in his bid to become a three-time champ when they meet June 25 on DAZN from Tech Port Arena in Rodriguez's San Antonio, Texas hometown.

Yeah, first Cuadras then Rungvisai then Chocolatito then Estrada. Out with the old kings, in with the new.

Srisaket is about to be like an old bike, with no seat.

He bout to get in that ass.

He excels against aggressors. His bane is boxers that move. Bam is about to go to war and back and we might see him laid out like Choco was.

          Then Srisaket can go eat

Can hardly wait for this card. Rodriguez will need to be sharp and he can’t stay stationary against SSR. That power is no joke.

What a shame, I was hoping that Jessie would go down to flyweight and KO 'Rat-Boy' Sunny Edwards. A whole lot of action for 'Bam' around these shark infested divisions from all sides, as stated Sunny Edwards is on the top of my list, you got the WBO champ Junto Nakatani and the WBC flyweight Julio Cesar Martinez at 112.

Then you got all the proven HOF veterans at Superfly : Kazuto Ioka, Roman Gonzalez, Juan Francisco Estrada, and even the young OG Kosei Tanaka and many more legit threats at these stack weights.

Just like people thought 'Bully' Bektemir was the future...until he met the legendary veteran Gabe Rosado.

                  We saw what happened.

It only takes one punch, bro.

Remember...people (other than ****** Talk Radio) gave Srisaket no chance against Choco.

If Srisaket goes back to jungle training and grilled rat, Bam has no chance.

Srisaket ain't Cuadras. Cuadras was the most war-torn of the four.

Never really rated bully bek he was quite wild in his fights before gabe and even tho I thought he'd beat gabe and didnt gabe would beat him the signs were there he was gonna be caught by somebody eventually. But bam is alot classier as a boxer very sharp with angles and the way he sets up his punches and rungsivai is dangerous but I still see bam outboxing him an winning comfortably
