Tyson Fury has yet to determine his next course of action as it relates to his pro career. Among the things he ruled out, however, were claims of his being on course to face the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk-Anthony Joshua rematch later this summer. A report from the UK's Daily Mail claimed that Manchester's Fury (32-0-1, 23KOs) was in advanced talks to face the winner in December for the undisputed championship, with both fights to take place in the Middle East as suggested in the report.

Sadly he really isn’t champion material it will ruin his legacy when all is said and done even if he were to get a win on A.J or Usyk he’s not actually the representation of a true boxing ambassador, even Wilder defended titles . He’s lucky he has a wins over Wilder otherwise he’d really be a non talking point at this stage .

I’ve literally never seen such a self entitled fighter like Fury as though he gets a couple good wins in 7 years and he acts like he’s god and doesn’t need to address the fans he slates them and then trolls fighters who take fights he declined ,sad.

Fury said he was definitely retired. And now just as I predicted - clearly waiting for AJ/Uysk fight and hoping AJ wins it - so he can magically come back out of retirement.... If Usyk wins but looks bad in doing so - Fury might even come back anyway.

So funny what he is doing just to avoid the guy with 3 belts (Usyk). Doesn't seem like someone who is confident in his abilities would do. One thing you can say about AJ is glass chin or not, he isn't scared of taking on the top guys.

Anyone who thinks Fury isn't scared of Usyk needs to watch the Joe Rogan interview with Fury :

"What I’m good at – boxing, moving, slipping and sliding – I couldn’t do against Steve Cunningham because he was quicker than me. It was like he was a better boxer all round than me, and he’d knocked me over even though he was a light puncher. I’m not gonna make any excuses, Steve Cunningham was a better boxer than me."

Cunningham turned out to be a bad HW... but Usyk has all of his qualities multiplied.

Only after the Usyk vs Joshua fight, will the pressure increase for Fury to make a decision.

Until then? He can play games, he can do what he wants etc.

At 6 month mark of inactivity, he owes it to fans and the sport to state his intentions. Nobody is bigger than the sport
